The Citrus Bowl stadium opened in 1936, and in 2014 the city of Orlando began a $207 million upgrade. More than 30,000 new seats supplied by Irwin Seating Company.  The stadium is home to the MLS Orlando City Soccer Club and hosts concerts and NCAA bowl games, among other events.
